Distribution:

Global Mines may be freely distributed as
long as nothing is changed, added or removed.

Global Mines is shareware. If you continue to use the game
after you checked it out you should pay the shareware
fee which is $7 US Dollars.

Please use the REGISTER.EXE program or see the support webpage
for more information about online registering.

You will then receive a key code which will unlock hidden
and non available features in the game.

For more information see the online help which you
can view by choosing Help in the game.

The software is distributed AS IS and the author is not
responsible for anything caused by this software.

Description:

Global Mines is a new clone of the classic Minesweeper
game which usually is included in Windows. However, the
most important addition to Global Mines compared to the
Microsoft Minesweeper is that Global Mines features the
Global Hall of Fame. You can play and compete with people
all over the internet!

Global Mines includes all features of the MS Minesweeper
game and a lot more...

Changes since the last version:

 Additions:
 - Added colors.
 - Made the graphic resizeable.
 - Use of middle mouse button.
 - Settings are saved.

 Changes:
 - Correct both button handling.
 - Everything is saved in the registry instead
  of the ini-file.

 Bugfixes:
 - You will only be able to click both buttons
   when you've flagged the correct amount of squares.

Installation:

The archive is a zip file which needs a zip unarchiver to
be unpacked. I suggest you use WinZip (www.winzip.com).

Do like this to install the game:

  - Open the archive with WinZip and extract all files to
    the directory where you want the game.

  - Now you can start by clicking on the GlobalMines.exe
    file, or go on to the next step...

  - Now click your Start button (bottom left corner) and
    choose Taskbar... in Settings. Now choose the Program...
    tab and use Add... Now go to the directory you put the
    game in and choose the file GlobalMines.exe.

  - Now you are finished!
